EEMS Ltd are able to supply inspection and testing services for fixed installations to BS7671. EEMS personnel carrying out this testing are qualified to both City and Guilds 2381 and 2391. All inspection and testing services are accompanied with a comprehensive report. In the case of a Periodic Inspection an IEE certificate will be issued. Testing of installations is required to be undertaken at specific intervals dependant on the type of premises. Testing is required as systems will deteriorate over time depandant on a number of factors which include environment, temperature, loading, wear and tear, damage and corrosive elements. We offer three levels of service for our client base: Bronze Service (Visual Electrical Inspection) Includes a visual inspection of:
followed by a test at each ring/radial socket for correct voltage and polarity. Note that no interuption of supply is required for this service. A full report is produced detailing the degree of testing carried out and the results and details of any observations.
Silver Service (Routine Electrical Inspection) Includes all elements of the bronze service with the addition of:
Note that during this service there will be an interuption to the supply.
Gold Service (Periodic Inspection to BS7671) This inspection is a comprehensive test and inspection procedure defined by the IEE in regulations BS7671. The scope of the testing required to be carried out imust be agreed with the client before any inspection is carried out as not all parts may be accessible or convenient to be switched off and an agreed sample size may have to be taken. EEMS Ltd will work closely with its client base to help to arrive at an acceptable testing plan. On completion of the Inspection and Test works a report will be provided which details the conditions of the installation, the results of all the tests carried out listing any faults recorded and recommendations for any remedial work.
